3/4 done

It's finals week, which means it's once again time for Follies to consume my life. Tonight was the first readthrough of our script, and I have to say I'm feeling really good about where we are on the show right now. And it's been nice to have a distraction, even if I haven't felt that funny over the past few weeks. Locking myself up in a room for three hours a day and forcing myself to write a comedy show has been a good distraction.

I just this minute finished posting my grades online, so I went to my favorite blog (Juliedelphia, of course) to see what was new. I can say I am 100% done with my penultimate semester of teaching--one more and I am retired.

Today I also bought my tree and trimmed it tonight. Tomorrow I begin present wrapping and my baking and candymaking on Tuesday. Ho, ho, ho!

Is there any chance you will be in SF when I am there from Dec. 27 to Jan 2? I would love to see you. Meanwhile, enjoy the Follies and Happy Holidays! Much love, Mary
